Morgan City operates and owns our wastewater treatment facility that treats wastewater from our residents of Morgan City. Our new headworks building was completed in 2018 with a new rag screen, grit removal basin, and disinfection building. The air diffusers were recently upgraded in 2022 to get full longevity out of our lagoons system. Our wastewater treatment facility discharges treated water back to the Weber River. Our Wastewater Department Staff spends many hours of training and maintaining certifications to keep this facility up and running!
