Delinquent Account Notice
If you are currently disconnected, you must call the following number BEFORE making a payment. If your utility service is disconnected you will be subject to a reconnection fee.

Reconnection Fee Policy
Any utility customer who has a delinquent amount on their billing after 30 days will receive a shut-off notice with their utility billing. This notice will allow the customer 10 days to pay the 30-day delinquent billing. If the utility billing is not paid within 10 days of the notice being sent out, the customer’s electricity and/or water service will be disconnected without further notice.
Exceptions to this policy may only be granted by the Mayor.
In order to have utility services reconnected, the 30 day past due utility billing plus the reconnect fee must be paid. A $40.00 fee will be charged to reconnect electricity if this service is performed between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. A charge of $60.00 will be assessed if electricity is reconnected after 3:30 p.m. or on Saturdays, Sundays or Holidays. A fee of $40.00 will be charged to reconnect water if the service is performed between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. A charge of $60.00 will be assessed if water is reconnected after 3:30 p.m. or on Saturdays, Sundays or Holidays.
**The signed, stamped document can be viewed at the Morgan City Offices during normal business hours.**
