Morgan City and Morgan County
Solid Waste Collection & Transfer Station Services
Proposals will be received by Morgan City via email for residential curbside solid waste collection services for the City and County and the management of a transfer station for a potential 5-year term.
The RFP documents are available on the Morgan City website – www.morgancityut.org. Any questions or clarification of any material within this RFP or otherwise related to the City’s and County’s intention to provide waste collection services should be directed via e-mail to tbailey [at] morgancityut.org ().
Submissions will be received via email to Stephanie Howard, Morgan City Utilities, showard [at] morgancityut.org no later than 5:00 p.m. on May 27, 2022. Proposals must be signed by an authorized representative of the company. All Proposals that are not received by the deadline will be considered late and will not be accepted. It is the responsibility of the company to ensure the emailed Proposal is received. The City reserves the right to cancel and/or withdraw this Request for Proposals (RFP”) at any time and to reject any and all Proposals submitted, for any reason, at its sole discretion.
The selected contractor must be willing to enter into a written agreement with the City and County to provide all services required under the scope of services outlined in this RFP. The start of services under such a contract will begin July 1, 2022.
